Our Board of Trustees: Leadership and Community
At the French American School of Chicago (EFAC), our Board of Trustees is the cornerstone of our governance, embodying the strategic partnership between parents, the Director, and the broader school community. Following the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) best practices, our board ensures EFAC’s adherence to its mission and oversees its strategic direction.
Purpose: Their primary role is strategic oversight, financial stewardship, and supporting our Director in setting long-term goals.
Community-Centric Governance: This structure promotes transparency and accountability, ensuring decisions reflect our collective commitment to providing exceptional bilingual education and preparing students for a global future.
