Strengthening Bilingual Education through Collaboration:

EFAC & CPS

The French American School of Chicago (EFAC) is proud to be working with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) system through our unique partnerships with Abraham Lincoln Elementary School (ALES) and Lincoln Park High School (LPHS).

A Unique Model of Integration: Our collaboration with ALES and LPHS is a testament to the innovative spirit of CPS, providing students with an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in a rigorous special program while benefiting from the rich diversity and resources of the American public school system. This integration allows EFAC students to experience the best of both worlds: the depth of the French educational curriculum and the breadth of American educational standards and extracurricular opportunities.

Collaboration at Every Level: The success of our program is built on the strong collaboration between EFAC teachers and the faculties of ALES and LPHS. Joint efforts in curriculum development, scheduling, and extracurricular activities ensure that our students receive a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience. This partnership also enhances the multicultural environment of both public schools, enriching the educational journey of not only EFAC students but all students within the CPS system.
